Albert Lucien Selover of Rochester, MN, passed away in his home on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the age of 85. Albert was born in Minneapolis, MN to Lucien and Adelaide (Reitan) Selover on December 11, 1933 in Minneapolis, MN. He attended Central High School in Minneapolis and worked as a machinist before serving in the Korean War. Albert married Joyce Fleming on August 27th, 1966 in Trade Lake, Wisconsin. They resided in Minneapolis and Albert worked as a computer programmer at the University of Minnesota for ten years. The family moved to Owatonna, MN in 1977 where both Albert and Joyce worked for Josten’s. The couple later divorced. Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and classic cars. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises. Albert is survived by two children, Gary (LuAnn) Selover of New Richland, MN and Janelle Selover of Owatonna, MN; grandsons, Kegan Ferch and Trevor Selover; eight nieces and nephews; and brother, Oliver Selover of Riverbank, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert Selover of Westland, MI and Ronald Selover of Minneapolis, MN. Arrangements have been made through the Brick-Meger Funeral Home, Owatonna, MN. Friends and family are welcome to attend a committal service which will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Committal Assembly area one, on Thursday, May 30, 2019
